Prestige is the main long-term progression in Pit Sandbox. Once you reach level 120 you can prestige: your level resets, and in return you earn Renown and Mastery Points and permanently unlock new content.
Levels[edit]
You earn XP from kills on bots and players. The level cap is 120. Your level and prestige are shown next to your name, for example [I-50] for Prestige 1, level 50.
Each block of ten levels needs more XP per level than the one before. The values below are for Prestige 0; every prestige multiplies them (see Prestige requirements).

Prestiging[edit]
Prestiging is done at the Archivist NPC in spawn, in the Prestige & Renown menu. To prestige you need:
- Level 120.
- Enough grinded coins: the coins you have earned since your last prestige. Spending coins does not lower this number. The amount needed rises with every prestige.
When you prestige:
- Your level resets to 1 (or 50 with the Fast Pass Renown upgrade) and your XP and grinded coins reset to 0.
- Your purchased megastreaks reset, and your selected megastreak goes back to Overdrive.
- Everything else is kept: your gold, upgrades, Renown upgrades, mystic items, perks, Mastery Tree progress and cosmetics.
- The XP needed for each level goes up.
- You receive the rewards below and unlock new content (see Prestige unlocks).
From Prestige 30, the confirmation screen counts down for 3 seconds before you can confirm.
Rewards[edit]
Every prestige gives Renown and 5 Mastery Points. You can hold at most 40 unspent Mastery Points, so points past the cap are lost.

Some prestiges give extra rewards:
- Every multiple of 5 from Prestige 10 (10, 15, 20, ...): an Ultimate Uberdrop.
- Every even prestige that is not a multiple of 10 (2, 4, 6, 8, 12, ...): a Super Uberdrop.
- Prestige 5 gives neither.
- From Prestige 45: a random booster is activated. From Prestige 65 it is a random 3x booster.
- From Prestige 70: +1 Trinket Evolution Point (see Trinkets).

Prestige colours[edit]
Your prestige is shown next to your name in a colour that changes every 5 prestiges, so anyone can tell how experienced a player is at a glance. The last four use three colours: one for the opening bracket, one for the dash and one for the closing bracket.
