Upgrades are permanent buffs in Pit Sandbox, bought with gold in the Upgrades menu of the Rocky NPC in spawn. This page covers the Passives: upgradable, always-active buffs that are kept when you prestige.

Rocky's Upgrades menu is also where you choose your megastreak, killstreaks, perks, blessing and trinket. The Passives button opens the upgrades on this page.
The Scam Artist Renown upgrade makes everything in the Upgrades menu 4% cheaper per tier (up to 20% at tier V). The costs below are before that discount.
Default passives[edit]
Three passives are unlocked for every player from the start and are already at full strength. They cannot be upgraded further.
Vampire[edit]
Heal +0.5❤ on every hit, melee or arrow. The healing is tripled on a critical bow hit. The Renowned Vampire Renown upgrade adds +0.15❤ to melee hits on bots.
Strength Chaining[edit]
Each kill gives +8% damage for 7 seconds, stacking up to 5 times (+40%). Each kill refreshes the timer. The Bodybuilder perk raises the stack cap.
Dirty[edit]
Gain Resistance II for 5 seconds on every kill.
Purchasable passives[edit]
Each tier is bought in order.
Gold Boost[edit]
Each kill has a chance to give 5x coins. It has a short cooldown between triggers, and the chance is halved on shared kill rewards.

XP Boost[edit]
Each kill has a chance to give 5x XP. It has a short cooldown between triggers. This upgrade is separate from the XP Boost enchant and the Renown XP Boost upgrade.

Auto Clicker[edit]
Raises the speed of the built-in Auto Clicker from 14 clicks per second by 1 per tier.
