Renown

Renown is a currency in Pit Sandbox earned mainly by prestiging. It is spent in the Renown Shop on permanent, account-wide upgrades that are never lost, even when you prestige.

Earning Renown

• Prestiging: every prestige gives Renown, from 10 at Prestige 1 to 500 at Prestige 85. See Prestige rewards for the full table.
• Reward Chests: from Prestige 1, chest spaces can contain Renown.
• Battlepass: the free track gives 100 Renown at tier 12 and 150 Renown at tier 24.
• Event Shop: Renown bags.
• Guild shop: an item that gives 2 Mastery Points or 20 Renown.
• Ultimate Uberdrops can roll Renown.

The Renown Shop

The Renown Shop opens from the Archivist NPC in spawn, in the Prestige & Renown menu, from Prestige 1. It cannot be opened while you have a streak. Each upgrade unlocks at a prestige, and multi-tier upgrades are bought one tier at a time. Some tiers have their own, higher prestige requirement. Upgrades marked as toggles can be switched on and off from the shop once bought.

Divine Protection	1	1	15	Toggle. While in mid with a megastreak active, take and deal 25% less damage to players, and your megastreak's extra damage taken only applies to hits from bots. Without a megastreak, you have a 30% chance to keep your lives on death. Each toggle has a 1-hour cooldown. Accepting The Pact turns it off, and it cannot be turned on while The Pact is active.

Giga Storage	6	1	15	Automatically stores huge amounts of common items in a single slot. Open it from your Ender Chest.
Bad Decisions	7	1	40	Unlocks Xaroth, The Pact and Soul Shards. Afterwards, left-click to visit Xaroth and right-click to toggle The Pact.
Runecrafting	8	2	25, 125	I: fish up monsters and apply and use runes. II: unlocks Rune Sacrificing, which combines runes.
Scam Artist	10	5	10, 20, 25, 40, 60	Everything in the Upgrades menu costs 4% less per tier.
Daily Grind	10, 20, 30, 40, 50	5	60, 120, 180, 250, 400	+2% chance per tier for each Reward Chest space to hold a reward. Each tier needs the next prestige in the list.
Renown XP Boost	12	3	20, 50, 100	+5% XP per kill per tier.
Promotion	15	1	50	Toggle. You do not lose lives on Jewel items (Mystic Items) when you die after activating a megastreak. Holds up to 25 uses and regains 1 use every 20 minutes. Extra uses cost 15 Gems each, and a Refill Token gives up to 10 uses. Dying on Gilded, Made of Time or Riftwalker costs two uses. On Uberstreak it only works from 400 streak, and on Apocalyptic Uberstreak from 2,500 streak. The Locked on Target perk disables it.
Mystic Artisan	17	1	15	50% discount on custom enchant selections in the Mystic Well.
Divine Intervention	18	3	25, 75, 125	+5% chance per tier to keep your inventory on death.
Experience-Industrial Complex	20	1	350	The streak XP bonus keeps growing up to 200 streak, and +50 max XP per kill.
Free Shot	21	1	100	Toggle. Passively strikes the bot you are facing in mid, even while you click. Stacks with your own clicks and the Auto Clicker. Bots only.
Upgrade Loadouts	21	1	40	Save presets for all of your perks and equip them instantly. Use them at Rocky.
Thick	22	2	200, 400	+1 max heart per tier.
Nuclear Launch	24	1	30	Launchers throw you at twice the usual speed.
Uberdrop Luck Boost	25	10	20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110	Marginally improves your uberdrops each tier: fewer low-value drops and more high-value ones.
Transferrable Skills	27	1	80	+0.1% XP and +0.1 max XP per kill for every level in your skills (Fishing, Mining, Farming and Hunting).
Greedy	28	5	20, 30, 40, 60, 80	Raises your trade limit by $5,000,000, $5,000,000, $10,000,000, $10,000,000 and $20,000,000 (tiers I–V).
Megacoin Investor	30 to 58	15	10, 15, 20, 25, then 30 (tiers V–X), 40 (tiers XI–XIII), 50 (tiers XIV–XV)	+2,000 Megacoin cap per tier. See the table below for each tier's prestige.
Fast Pass	31	1	250	Start at level 50 after you prestige.
Apollo	34	1	60	Toggle. Launchers send you to the landing point closest to where you are looking.
Special Service	36, 41, 46	3	100, 400, 800	Lowers the level requirement of every killstreak slot by 5 per tier.
Renowned Vampire	40	1	250	Healing against bots is increased by +0.15❤.
Renown Absorption	42	1	75	Trade spare Renown for items (see below).
Gear Loadouts	44	1	300	Save inventory presets and swap them in one click. Use them from your Ender Chest.
Reflection	45	3	50, 80, 200	Adds 5%, 10% or 15% of your megastreak bonus damage taken to your damage dealt, up to +20%.
Old Dog, New Tricks	50	2	100, 100	Left-click abilities for the Boost Egg. I: +40% damage for 5 seconds. II: Speed IV for 5 seconds. Click the upgrade to switch between them.
Inventory Management	56	3	1,000, 1,500, 2,500	+1 row in your Ender Chest per tier.
Fourth Perk Slot	59, 72	2	500, 900	I: unlocks the 4th perk slot; perks must be upgraded to be eligible for it. II (Prestige 72): raises the 4th perk slot's level.
Sinister Syndicate	65	1	300	Access to the Spectral Market.
Throwback	–	1	–	Not bought with Renown: it is the day 7 reward of the Daily Rewards. Take 1% less damage from players per prestige of difference between you and them, up to 15%.

With the Renown Absorption upgrade, the villagers trade items for Renown you no longer need:
