Golden Berries are hidden collectibles in Pit Sandbox. Finding them is a treasure hunt: each berry sits at a fixed spot on a map, and some can only be reached by solving small quests and secrets.
Overview[edit]
- There are 70 Golden Berries spread over three maps: most are on Yggdrasil, with a few on Seasons and Castle.
- Each berry is at a fixed location and can be found once.
- There are also 24 Pebbles to find. Collecting all of them earns a Golden Berry.
- Berries can only be collected on the map currently being played. The Berry Collector NPC shows how many berries you have found on each map, which maps are in rotation, and a hint for each berry you have not found yet.
- A few berries are buried treasure that must be dug up.

Some berries are rewards for short quest chains:
- John Campfire
- Moon Light
- Special Tree
- Trust Campfire
Others reward exploring the map:
- Sewer discovery
- Stew Cooking
- Forest Arch Collection
- Cracked Wall
- Cave of Living Stones
Rewards[edit]
Every berry you find adds one Golden Berry to your balance. At the Berry Collector you can trade 5 Golden Berries for a Reward Token. Each trade also gives a permanent +2% Kill XP bonus.
Reward Tokens are spent on the Berry Machine. It has 14 rewards, and each one can only be won once, so 14 tokens (70 berries) win them all:
- 1 Perk Amulet
- 2 Blessing Boxes
- 3 × 2 Mastery Points
- 2 random Runes
- 3 × 2 Jewel Swords
- 3 × 2 Jewel Pants
Most Berry Machine items are untradeable.
