Jewel Shards are a material used at the Mystic Well to buy high-tier upgrades for Mystic Items: the higher item levels and Ascensions.

Uses[edit]
- Levelling a mystic item up to levels 11 to 20 costs 64 Jewel Shards per level, on top of coins and Mystic Dust.
- Each Ascension (possible from level 20, up to 10 times) costs 64 Jewel Shards, on top of coins and Mystic Dust.
- Jewel Shards can no longer be applied to Jewel items for extra lives. Items that had shards applied before the rework keep those lives, and some got the applied shards back as stored shards (see Items from before item levels). Stored shards show on the item's lore as Stored Jewel Shards and are spent first when that item's level-ups or Ascensions cost Jewel Shards.
Obtaining[edit]
- Sewer Chests on the Castle map: each chest gives 2 or 3 rewards, and from Prestige 15 each reward has a 6.4% chance to be a Jewel Shard.
- Mystery Boxes: from Prestige 40, Rare boxes can contain 8 Jewel Shards and Epic boxes 16.
- The Legendary Loot Bag from the Event Shop: each of its 3 rolls has a 5% chance of 16 Jewel Shards.
- Incinerating a Jewel item at the Mystic Well gives 1 to 8 Jewel Shards if the item's Jewel enchant is a RARE! enchant.
- Incinerating any mystic item also returns a third of the coins, Mystic Dust and Jewel Shards spent on its levels and Ascensions. Stored shards on the item are lost.
- A Dazzling Jewel Shard turns into 64 Jewel Shards.
- Jewel Shards and Dazzling Jewel Shards also turn up in store deals from time to time.
- Jewel Shards can be traded with other players using
/trade.
