Refraction is an ANCIENT! sword enchant. Blocking deflects arrows in your look direction, maintaining enchant effects; II+ amplifies damage.
Tiers[edit]
- I: Blocking arrows deflects them in the direction you're looking, maintaining all its enchant effects.
- II: Blocking arrows deflects them in the direction you're looking, dealing 1.5x damage and maintaining enchant effects.
- III: Blocking arrows deflects them in the direction you're looking, dealing 2x damage and maintaining enchant effects.

- ANCIENT! enchants are an alternate tier of enchant that comes from boss drops.
- It is unlocked and upgraded with the Tome of Refraction, a 0.15% drop from bosses with the Solar modifier. An Encrusted Cache (from the Obelisk and some boss modifiers) can also contain it. Each tome raises the enchant by one tier, up to tier III.
