Jewel Shards allow you to add up to 5 extra lives on Jewel Items.
Each extra life requires 64 Jewel Shards.

OBTAINING[edit]
Jewel Shards are obtained from Sewer Chests.
The Sewers are located under the City area on the King's Map.
Items in Sewer Chests have a 7.4% chance of being Jewel Shards, if the player is at or above Prestige 15.
They can also be bought from other players.
