==How megastreaks work==
* You select one megastreak at a time in the [[Upgrades]] menu at Rocky. It activates when your streak reaches its activation number, and the server announces it.
* '''Overdrive''' is free and always available. Every other megastreak must first be unlocked in the [[Mastery Tree]] with Mastery Points, then bought with coins in the Upgrades menu. The Mastery Tree unlock is permanent, but coin purchases are reset when you [[Prestige|prestige]] (your selection goes back to Overdrive), so each megastreak has to be bought again after every prestige.
* Choosing '''No Megastreak''' avoids all megastreak buffs and penalties.
* Your choice shapes your whole build: each megastreak has its own branch of Mastery Tree nodes, most of which only work while it is active (listed under each megastreak below).
* Most drawbacks are extra damage taken, shown as "Megastreak Bonus" damage. The [[Renown]] upgrade '''Reflection''' turns part of that bonus into extra damage dealt.
* The Mastery Tree cannot be opened while you are on a megastreak.
* Some megastreaks interact with the [[Renown]] upgrade '''Promotion''': dying on Gilded, Made of Time or Riftwalker costs two Promotion uses, and Promotion does not work on Uberstreak below 400 streak or on Apocalyptic Uberstreak below 2,500 streak.
